TheTideChart.com can reveal high-resolution press renders of the Google Pixel Watch 5, showing all four case finishes and both sizes ahead of Google's official announcement on August 12 — the first full look at the watch published anywhere.
The leak is cross-corroborated by Google's own paper trail: four watch model numbers widely identified as the Pixel Watch 5 range cleared the FCC on June 29, and Google's press invites have the Made by Google event officially set for August 12 in New York. Partial Pixel Watch 5 details have circulated in the wider tech press for weeks; the press materials seen by The Tide Chart fill in the complete color lineup and both case sizes.
The silhouette will surprise no one. Google is sticking with the domed, pebble-like design it has refined for five generations — proprietary lugs and all, so existing bands should carry over. Look closely and the changes are subtle: this reads as a refinement of last year's watch rather than a rethink, with the side-mounted charging contacts appearing to return unchanged — which suggests Pixel Watch 4 chargers should still work.
Four colors in the leaked renders
The renders confirm the color lineup that surfaced in retail listings earlier this month: Dark Anthracite paired with a black band, Natural Silver with a pale gray band, Pyrite with an olive band, and Warm Gold with a coral band. In the materials we’ve seen, Warm Gold appears only with the smaller case — the 45mm renders show Anthracite, Silver, and Pyrite — though a 45mm Gold variant can’t be ruled out yet.
Every combination comes in Wi-Fi and LTE trims, which lines up with the four model numbers in the FCC filings — two list LTE antennas, two don't. Those filings are the most interesting part of the story so far: on the cellular models they also show satellite connectivity — carrying over the emergency satellite SOS Google introduced last year — plus ultra-wideband, and Wi-Fi 6 across the range.
A price bump, and Wear OS 7
The less welcome rumor: pricing. Retail chatter points to a $399 starting price for the 41mm Wi-Fi model, $50 over the Pixel Watch 4. LTE and the 45mm case climb from there, with the leaked lineup topping out at $529. Google is also said to be fitting larger batteries and a new wearable-class Tensor chip — though we can't verify either claim yet.
The Pixel Watch 5 will launch on Wear OS 7 — already rolling out to older Pixel Watches — and should be the first model to ship with Google's consolidated Health app preinstalled. Retail leaks point to pre-orders opening the day after the event, with wide availability from August 20.
